All praise is due to Allah alone, and may the Salah and Salam of Allah be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family and his companions. To answer your question, we say while seeking all the success from Allah: The maternal aunt of the father is a mahram based on the statement of Allah, the most High, wherein He said (interpretation of the meaning): {Prohibited to you [for marriage] are your mothers, your daughters, your sisters, your father's sisters, your mother's sisters} [Quran 4:23] This includes all paternal and maternal aunts, be it a first degree aunt or their aunts.
