Praise be to Allah, and may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family and his companions. Wa alaikum assalam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. As to what follows: In response to your question, we say: There is no problem if a person needs to use nose drops whilst fasting. However, he should not inhale them excessively. If some substance from the nose drops reaches his throat as a result of inhalation, his fasting is not invalidated. It is also permissible to use eye and ear drops whilst fasting. If some substances from these drops reaches the throat, fasting is not invalidated..
