In response to your question, I say:

According to the Hanbali school of thought, gifts take the same ruling as inheritance because the obligatory justice of dealing with children necessitates that the male should have twice the share of a female. However the majority of scholars are of the opinion that rulings of gifts and presents contradict the rulings of inheritance in that justice necessitates that males and females should have equal shares. This view is what seems to be more correct.
