Is it permissible to partner in sacrificing one sheep? This is because vouchers of buying a sacrificial animal to be slaughtered outside the country are distributed among us with one voucher going for 250 Saudi Riyals? Is it permissible to collect money from the sisters? Who is going to be rewarded?

Answer

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.

Praise be to Allah, and may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family and his companions.

To proceed:

If participants are from one house, there is nothing wrong and the reward will be for all of them. However, if they are from different houses then it will not be regarded as sacrifice because people of different houses are not allowed to partner in sacrificing one sheep.
