A university lecturer says: The norm at our faculty and other similar faculties is that we do not work every day but rather we go either two or three days per week. The other days we will be preparing topics for masters’ degree and the like. He asked regarding the issue of daily attendance and he was told that your work does not confine you to a specific time, but all that is required from you during this period is completion of the masters degree syllabus. The labor law also stipulates that he has no right of teaching. So he is asking regarding: 1. Ruling on the salary he is getting? 2. He gets paid overtime wages whereas he only attends twice a week and knocks off at the normal time. What is the ruling of this money?
