Dear respected Shaykh, assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. I have agricultural land which I was given by the state. It is situated 80 kilometers away from Riyadh, on the Salbukh road. I tried to sell the land twice, however, there was no demand for it because it is far and currently undeveloped. The land is still there, and is no longer for sale. Should I pay Zakat on it yearly or not?
