Dear respected Shaykh, assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. I live in the sixteenth floor of a high-rise apartment building. I had brought a cat to my apartment. My daughter would let the cat enter the apartment everyday and we would feed it. Sometimes we would put it on the balcony overlooking the street and it would sit there. One day we put it there and left the house. We arrived late, and found that the cat had fallen to the ground. My question is that, is there a sin on me?
