Question

“And we shall remove from their breasts any sense of injury (that they may have), (so they will be like) brothers” Does this mean that there are some Muslims that will enter paradise while their hearts had envy, hate and grudge in this world because the Prophet (peace be upon him) says: “Do not harbour grudge against one another, nor jealousy, nor enmity” [hadith] May you please clarify the meaning of Umar Ibn Al-Khataab (relatives should exchange visits ....)

قوله تعالى { ونزعنا ما في قلوبهم من غل}.

Answer

Praise be to Allah, and may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family and his companions.
With regards to answering your question we say, success is by Allah Almighty.
As to what follows:
Alghil (The grudge) that you are asking about is the one that results from disputes between Muslims. Disputes usually leave something in the heart. Since jannah is good, it shall not be entered except by the good hearted. Indeed Allah will beautify their hearts, and this is from Allah’s favours that He will bestow upon the people of jannah. He will also beautify them outwardly by removing traces of those disputes and injustices.
Bukhari narrates a hadith from Abu Saeed Al-Khudri that:
Allah's Messenger (peace be on him) said, "When the believers pass safely over (the bridge across) Hell, they will be stopped at a bridge in between Hell and Paradise where they will retaliate upon each other for the injustices done among them in the world, and when they get purified of all their sins, they will be admitted into Paradise. By Him in Whose Hands the life of Muhammad is everybody will recognize his dwelling in Paradise better than he recognizes his dwelling in this world."
This clarifies that the grudge resulted from disputes and injustices which were between them on earth.
As for your question will the one who had envy and grudge in his heart enter paradise? The answer is yes as indicated by the previous texts but they will only enter after they are purified of all envy and jealousy so that they will enter with sound hearts, thus Allah described their state in jannah as:
“(so they will be like) brothers facing each other on thrones” [Al-Hijr 15:47]
So there won’t be any grudge that will remain “And we shall remove from their breasts any sense of injury (that they may have)” [Al-Hijr 15:47]
I ask Allah to let myself and you into paradise.
